Design
The 39mm case size is the most preferable watch case size. To consider the preferable size, it was inevitable to deeply ponder the size of its movement and the pivot of the small second dial. The size of the bezel, the dials, the printable area, and the small second dial are thoroughly examined to complete the perfect balance of the watch. As we were certain that the sub-dial is the key design of the First Pitzmann, the size of the watch and the pivot of the small second dial are crucial in the process of design.
Dial
The white dial is the cold enamel which is very attractive and hard-wearing. The dial allows the watch to have the vibe of a pocket watch as well as a lustrous, elegant glassy texture. Most small-second-watches with intolerable balance have failed to show the beauty of the small second sub-dials. A large expense is probably needed to place them in the right balance. However, we are very positive that we managed to do it on the first Pitzmann.
Index & Hands
The embossed printed indices display the elaborate design by the light reflections. The Heated Blue Steel hands cost great value and here, we have all hands with Heated Blue Steel.
We wanted the depth of the blue color to be enjoyed at a reasonable price. During the heating, a slight temperature difference results in different shades of blue. In order to make the desirable blue color, a high standard in selection was needed. You can relish the experience of the blue hands in the First Pitzmann right on your wrist. Such colors from the deep navy to vivid blue are imbued in the First Pitzmann, which painted blue hands cannot express.
Straps & Bracelet
Wrist watches that started with a strap attached to pocket watches have become practical enough to be used in foxholes. For this reason, the first Pitzmann is not made for a dress watch. Such practical use allows various looks with different straps in our daily life. 100m water resistance also allows easy use in daily life. The watch comes with a cowhide leather strap. The cowhide leather strap is great in casuals.
Genuine alligator straps are an additional option. The straps have a luxurious inner layer of Spanish Marti leather. Each separable link of the bracelet allows the flexible attachment for extreme comfort on your wrist. The lug size is 20mm of the universal size of straps.
